By accessing and using Parlor ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this Service.

2. Description of Service

Parlor is a personal operating system for time tracking, task management, and context-aware chat. The Service includes tools for starting and tracking focus sessions, managing one-time and recurring tasks, organizing notes into folders (Brain), storing operating procedures (Skills), uploading resource files, and discussing tasks with AI Chat.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must register for an account. When you do, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Keep your information up to date
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription and Payment

Parlor is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees as described in our pricing
• Provide accurate and complete billing information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Be responsible for all charges incurred under your account

Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Violate the privacy rights of others
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Parlor and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service—tasks, notes, skills, and files. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parlor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Parlor and its affiliates, officers, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
